SUMMER CAMP - 1 to 8 August 2009
We had one of the best camps we’ve ever had on a farm near Cromer in Norfolk, staying with Major Gurney who is a prominent figure in Norfolk Scouts as well as having an 84 year connection with Scouts camping on his father’s, and now his, farm. The weather was very kind to us so we were able to get out and about to a local activity centre, go canoeing down the River Bure, go karting, and make several inspections of the local beaches (all pronounced good).
